Thanks, John. Cisco certainly has some REAL competition at last. And Foundry just keeps on impressing me with the deals they are signing with major players.

But no Router war would be complete without looking at JNPR. This is the one that Wall Street seems set towards declaring the prince of the router market. . JNPR was added to the Nasdaq 100 earlier in the month. . . and the stream of articles about it is endless.

I generally keep 4 times as much FDRY as JNPR, strictly because I like the types of companies who are choosing to FDRY over JNPR or CSCO. They seem to be the highest of the high-tech networks. . .looking for the very fastest speed that money can buy. But make no mistake! Juniper is the router player that is being groomed for stardom. . . and is enjoying a $72 Billion market cap while "For the six months ended 6/30/00, revenues totaled $176.9 million, up from $27.6 million. "

Juniper recently released their M5 and M10 routers and claim 6 immediate customers: biz.yahoo.com
And M20 router: biz.yahoo.com

And don't count Cisco out. They have a $406 Billion and can buy most any technology they want.
