I never said the SPR release wasn't political. But I'm in the camp that believes the Reps and Saudis are happy to keep the price of oil high through election time. We know why both have incentive to do so. Reps to get elected and Saudis to keep a man of Jewish decent becoming 2nd most powerful man . I look at it as a heavy weight boxing match, Reps, this admin has no energy policy (jab ). Admin , release of SPR oil ( block, counter punch ). Still waiting for the one that throws the uppercut that ends the fight.

Not defending either side on this one. Either way that oil has to be replaced . Oil and politics are not like oil and water, they do mix.

Either way should bode well for our stocks in the long run.

Got to go run some errands.
