Hi dawg - You are right about acquisitions. However, acquisitions are not the sole purpose of this issuance. Fueling expansion requires real $. If ADI does acquire some leading edge outfits, especially startups, she still needs to put in some capital to make them value added. Using real estate as an analogy, buying a centrally located parcel at the edge of a boom town may be a smart move, but building up this parcel with executive residence will really make the best bang for the buck. If ADI has already had a real estate map, she may as well lock in the rate while it is low <VBG>. Ok, chances are GS probably has sent a bunch of suits to convince ADI to do this. But, if everything is kosher, ADI can go to many others. If anything, my guess is that ADI is doing this when her hand is strong, which is a good way to do things

best, Bosco
