There is a difference between:

A) doing what you think is right for the country, and concealing what you are doing for the sake of international relations

B) being dishonest with regard to a sleazy personal life. (Not to mention he could at least have picked someone good looking.)

I guess we disagree. I think it's much worse to violate the Constitution of the United States and trash the system set up by the founding fathers (even if you think it's for the "good of the Country"...that's what checks and balances are for), than to be a scumbag in your personal life. Eisenhower had a mistress for years and no one accuses him of being a moral degenerate. It was rumored that George Bush did also (and who could blame him, being married to his mother and all...).
I don't even care about George W's cocaine use, if he seemed intelligent and competent in other regards (which he doesn't).

Hi all; (OTOT) We should split the thread into six opposing camps (calling each other liars, hypocrites, ethically challenged, etc...):

Democrats for Rambus
Democrats against Rambus
Republicans for Rambus
Republicans against Rambus
Independents for Rambus
Independents against Rambus.

Probably the real problem is that this is a quiet news day.
