Bull RidaH: LOL...David Lee Smith's MoMonkey has never given anything but sell signals.

I noticed he has removed the claim in his profile he was the President of an IBM Finance division. I can't remember the exact name of the division, but IBM said it never existed and David Lee Smith did not work for them.

See the following post...

It may be premature to start shorting. I just updated the MomentuMonkey indicator and it went from a SELL to NEUTRAL. We could see a trading range market for a few weeks would be my guess. I would actually be looking for a few trades here or in the next day or two.

I expect next week to be at least a bear market rally for several reasons:

1. 401K money flows in the first week of the month.
2. Next week begins the Jewish High Holy days and historically, the market rallys during this time (it seems that most Jewish traders are bearish and their abscence allows for a rally until they return back to the pits).

If you're looking for trades I'm looking at INTC to fill the first gap only, but still a great % move. MSFT to carry upward from the minor court victory and successful Windows Me launch. TGP as a risk arbitrage play; its being acquired by PCL -- you get 15% for the risk arb, then 12% yield to boot. I'm also looking at Elf Gabon on the Paris Bourse exchange. Elf is minority owned by Elf Acquitane which is being acquired by Total Petroleum. Elf Gabon sell for about 3.2X earnings (yes earnings) and has a 20% dividend yield. Both revenues and earnings for Elf Gabon are paid in US dollars. Total has expressed interest in acquiring the minority interest of Elf Acquitane ... therefore Elf Gabon. Elf Gabon sells for about 150 euro that is about $122 per share. The objective over the next 12-18 months is 300 euro.

Don't mind LG, he's still licking his wounds from when I successfully called this bear market during the beginning of the year, especially the so-called Gorilla Stocks. That's how I came to be known as the MomentuMonkey. Oh yes, STAGG and I are not the same and we do not work together!
