It just is not logical.
I am sure RMBS would have rather had the patent 10 years ago.

When Rambus signed agreements with Intel years ago for the later use of DRDRAM, did they inform Intel they planned to collect on DDR and SDRAM, or that they even had patents pending on DDR and SDRAM? (please provide a link if you can)
