Agree. The old yankee saying "Whatever the market bears".
We have our Dell crowd, they have their SUNW crowd (including you). Just roll with the punches. Don't get emotional about it. At least my knowledge on what is happening in this market is limited. I don't think anybody, including your Mickey can guarantee the performance.
Good Luck.

Re: ...are at ease allowing SUNW and EMC and NTAP their respective P/E's of 108, 173, and 741!! Outrageous.

I'm with you Kaka.

IMO, there is no fundamental connection between some of
these company's valuations and what they could ever
hope to achieve in terms of revenue and earnings power.

It's all about the quarter to quarter expectations game.
As long as a company is in a hot industry (as defined
by the fad of the year), is growing revenues at a rate
> 35% and has the potential to continually surprise to
the upside each quarter, there is no limit to how high
the stock price can go. Literally, no limit whatsoever.

Once the company loses the ability to surprise to the
upside, it doesn't matter what their growth rate
is. The trend becomes disappointment and those
insane valuations come unraveled.

BTW, at times I've considered Dell to be overvalued,
but never close to what I'm seeing some of these
companies at today.
