Oh man, they are the worst. Went over to see my wheelchair-bound mother a few days after and she apologized for not getting to the hospital to visit me. Just who the heck would take her, me? It would have been just great. I'd be there trying to get the strength together to get the heck out of Dodge and she would be telling the nurses that I needed another pillow. "...and you shouldn't be straining yourself coming all the way over here." ....uh, wasn't a good time to tell her that I was thinking about taking a few whacks at golf balls later.
