Dennis,

If there is any type of rally, it wont be far. I get the feeling the they are selling the mini-rallys. Since this decline started that has already twice in a row with 1 day rallys. Eventually it will be a sustained rally, but if we rally right from here the upside should be limited, since my short-term technicals are still in the midrange.

This kind of short should cause the market to go up.

As I understand it many SP00 traders are switching over to the NDX futures. As that takes place the short that had existed on the SP00 (to make the float for the traders) is shifting over to the ND00.

This kind of short is hedged. That is long stocks and short futures.

dennis: Was that you who posted Brinker or Brogan or Bubba or some such name a month ago where the prediction was that the NDX would drop 20% from its highs (4150 area)? And the question of the lad was what could cause such a drop. The answer was INTC.

Who posted that, and where do I sign up? :)
