McKenzie Bay - Great Vanadium mining opportunity...Can't seem to find any other site on it in SI.

This is a pinksheets company (check www.pinksheets.com and symbol MKBY). It has found the 2nd largest Vanadium deposit in the world in Quebec.

The US currently consumes about 40% of the world demand for Vanadium yet currently imports about 80% of it from overseas sources.

Vanadium is primarily used in the aerospace and auto industries to alloy with steel to make stronger, lighter vehicle frames.

However, it is finding a new expanded use in the rechargeable battery industry (kilowatt range). It is being used by major utilities in Japan and San Diego with success. These large cell rechargheable batteries 'charge' during the night time when electricity rates are lower. It then discharges during the daytime to compensate daytime hours power and reducing costs during that heavier demand period. This innovation may help the energy crisis situation here in the US and other parts of the world.

Financially, for a pinksheet, this company is in great shape. Getting recent grants from the Quebec gov't and other agencies (see news releases for MKBY at www.pinksheets.com), MKBY is set to proceed until the company reaches the full production stage.

I believe this company is still a great buy at the 2.25 to 2.50 range and people are starting to buy up the float.

I'm in on this one to go up dramatically withing the next year as Vanadium use increases in the US and worldwide.

Feedback always welcome,
Jack
