This article places a cloud over entry points for individual "beaten down" stocks. For semis I have placed limit orders in at prices which are at half their highs. Maybe the tax loss selling for mutual funds as per that article will drive stocks to that point and hopefully no further. Anyway this strategy prevents me from prematurely pushing the button on a whole host of stocks that have become way undervalued. Obviously in non-chip arena we are well below half for many stocks.
