Snake Eyes: Interesting observation. Putting Newt in charge of education is an idea worth considering. I wonder if Newt has a blueprint for failing inner-city schools?

However, I must admit I find it a bit strange in this election that the Republicans actually want to expand the the federal government's role in education/setting a national education agenda. Isn't this at odds with the GOP mantra of always keeping schoolhouse jurisdiction at the lowest level?
