That's a good one. When I was a kid, everyone I knew went shooting with their dad. Dad taught me how to handle a gun so that no one would get hurt, how to care for the weapon, how to respect the power and danger that were potentially there. I don't recall any school shootings, drive by shootings, or even any accidental shootings among the people I knew. We hunted, "plinked", target practiced, with our rifles and pistols. Our dads also taught us how to drive and take care of our cars. Do you see a pattern here?
