The Olympic event I find amusing is the Toilet-Paper-On-A-Stick. This seems little more than what kids do on FireCracker Day with sparklers. But I'm off topic ... This morning I dropped by the grocery store to get a couple of items. The cart I selected had one of those wonky-wheels, we all know the story --- this cart seemed to have a mind of its own, made an irritating racket, shook the shit out of my stuff, and once it managed to escape my grip, ran over my toe. I suppose the Save-Our-Carts people would barricade the store, disrupt traffic, get themselves on TV, royally trash the place, and leave a profound mound of garbage in their wake if the store ever decided to do everyone a favour and put these carts out of their, and everyone else's, misery. Phew! Now I feel better. Cheers, PW.
