just back from best buy. JVC 3.2 mega pixel with movie ablility for $399 reduced from $450. i agree that kodak and all film companies are in for a tough ride and no relief in sight. pcs are in 40% of us homes and all those people are potential customers of digi cams. especially at christmas time. if they can get a decent digi cam (1200x 900 res) down to $100 the film business drops away even more. kodak has to work toward that goal.

Steve, Let's be realistic. Message 14454369 "I was thinking more along the lines of 512MB being a 512 megabyte card..." You think SanDisk is not a worthwhile the investment because a fictitious 512 megabyte flash card would cost $1400.00? ??? And I thought it was you asking for a bit of objectivity on the thread. I guess I still don't get your point. As for Pontis, I think they are just planning ahead. Perhaps you should re-read the minutes of the annual meeting. Expand your mind and start thinking beyond single digits. Aus 512...I didn't know SSTI investors could count that high
