I think it will take more then just the current down trend to get through $50. I think oil, the euro or a warning out of the likes of a IBM or something will be needed. That is for short term any how...

I think Nas will test 3500 and fail, then test 3000 in October and bounce. I think that if oil continues to rise, the euro continues to fall or a general slow down telecom continues, 3000 will be broken and we will be range bound between 2500-3000 for the next 6 months. In that time we will see what these techs are all about. I think the effect of the market coming down will further slow the economy and could lead to a recession in the new year. Retailers getting hit hard first. Then a trickle up effect through out the economy.
