Niceguy, Re: I'm still liking those boundaries of $24.25 and $48.50 for AMD. I admire your optimism. The NAZ broke some important support today and I think we are headed for 3500. Did you see what they made to Kodak today? EK trailing PE is like 4 now ... I just hope AMD does not preannounce bad news and we meet earnings estimates on Oct 11. No margin for error. If AMD disappoints ... we are headed to the teens ... Now the good news. When I get this bearish, it is usually a sign of a bottom. Now, if you would tame your rosy comments a bit ... perhaps we might go up a few points ;-) fp

Niceguy, I've watched some of Monty's trades in the past. I'm not talking about AMD trades either. He is really tuned in to some of these stocks. That is not what I was going to talk to you about. YES..AMD is probably doing all the things you say. The silicon chip biz is one thing...the stock market is another. I read up on the bear threads. That way I can see, all in one place, what all the negative news is in the general market. AMD can be doing one thing...but in the short term at least..the market could be doing something else. Long on AMD, regards, pearly.
