Do you really think that's a yes/no question?

Absolutely. From a performance basis, DDR is identical to SDRAM, except for the fact that it transfers data on both clock edges.

It is therefore impossible for single data rate SDRAM to ever beat DDR in a real benchmark.

What's your answer on cleaning up the thread?

I believe that the vast majority of the problem is on the side of the longs, so the onus is on the other longs to take action.

We need a moderated thread. It worked very well for AMD. Too much of Yahoo has infiltrated this thread.
