Right click desktop, go to properties, screensaver tab, click on settings button at bottom of window and set the appropriate boxes. Also available through start/settings/control panel/power management

BillyJoe, vanished from the system tray? If that's the case you can find power settings under START>SETTINGS>CONTROL PANEL

I had the same problem. After getting to the Settings Tab, go to Advanced Properties, click Monitor Tab, and then check "Monitor is Energy Star Compliant." Go back to Screen Saver Tab and the bottom area is now available for selecting a time.
