Hi Scumbria; Another RDRAM design bites the dust. (This is the official word. The rumors have been all over for months, and reported in the trade press.)

PixelFusion ditches graphics for network ICs
PixelFusion became the latest company to bail out of the graphics market, redirecting its entire corporate focus to designing network processors.

The company, located in Bristol, England, will also undergo its second management reorganization in six months.
[LOL!]
...
"We are very encouraged by the potential value that we can create for our shareholders" blah blah blah blah ...

The reason this is of interest to RMBS investors is cause of this bit of old news:

PixelFusion and Number Nine Announce Agreement to Jointly Develop Industry's Most Powerful 3D Graphics Solution
The new 3D accelerator should be the first graphics add-in card to incorporate Rambus® (NASDAQ: RMBS) RDRAM® memory -- a memory that was selected for its excellent throughput characteristics. Current simulation tests show that this architecture will be able to shatter existing ProCDRS-02 benchmark scores by more than doubling the scores of today's most advanced high-end, proprietary 3D workstations.

P.S. I think Clinton was the most morally bankrupt President we've ever had. If he had been in office during Vietnam, the stuff he would have done would have made Johnson and Nixon's illegal antics look like small potatoes. We are just lucky that the last 8 years were some of the smoothest sailing this country has ever experienced. The cold war is over, and the economy is great. But that guy has no business running a lemonade stand, much less a nuclear armed superpower.
