LG: You've raised a few issues here. Lets hit them one at a time. 1. "Site is slow as ever": Are there specific areas of SI that you feel are slow? If so, please let me know which pages or functions. The more we can narrow it the better we can focus on improving those areas. So, specifics much appreciated. 2. "Full database text searches often don't retrieve all posts ...": An example would be helpful. The search capability does not (and has never) search the entire database. We index the last 6 months + (sometimes more) for searching. So, if your search is not retrieving posts from long ago that is the reason. If your search is not retrieving posts from more recent messages then there is a problem. If this is the case can you please provide an example. 3. "Profile text searches won't pull up posts past May" This is a bug. Our engineers are looking into it. Good call. Thanks for raising these issues. Any more details you can provide would be great.
