Intel says margins down from 63% to 62%
earnings up only 39% from last year
how much worse do you expect Intel's fundamentals to get?
thanks for your independent view

I understand Allan. Funny, seems I have always had to, I'm pretty use to the leaving.

Love you bro,

Tom

~Life~

They told me that Life could be just what I made it--

Life could be fashioned and worn like a gown;

I, the designer, mine the decision

Whether to wear it with bonnet or crown.

~~~~~~~~~~
And so I selected the prettiest pattern--
Life should be made of the rosiest hue--
Something unique and a bit out of fashion,
One that perhaps would be chosen by few.
~~~~~~~~~~

But other folks came and they leaned o'er my shoulder;

Somebody questioned the ultimate cost;

Somebody tangled the thread I was using;

One day I found that my scissors were lost.

~~~~~~~~~~
And somebody claimed the material faded;
Somebody said I'd be tired ere 'twas worn;
Somebody's fingers too pointed and spiteful,
Snatched at the cloth and I saw it was torn.
~~~~~~~~~~

Oh! somebody tried to do all the sewing,

Wanting always to advise or condone.

Here is my life, the product of many;

Where is that gown I could fashion--alone?

Your viewpoint on the intel baffles me. I believe he's going out to January (the soonest one would want), and averaging down from 47 to 42--if it gets back into the 50s by January he'll have made his bucks.

When stocks get unfairly punished that's a good time to buy. The reaction here is excessive but then again the market always is, both upside and downside.

We have a very liquid volatile market, with many little bears and bulls. Maybe volatility is the name of the game now.

Well, I have followed this board for as long as it has been around. I has lost millions of dollars on QCOM and still can not get over what the hell I was thinking about. Thought it was the end of the world, but it was not.

However, I must admit, TOM (VOLT) has changed my life and perspective on the market. It is a CASINO, but if you were to live the stress free life style, it really doesn't matter where the market goes. He has shed light on how to live the stress free life and by no means is anyone on this thread a CLOWN for listening to what he offers as an opinion. We still have a choice to listen ot not to listen, but that does not make us CLOWNS.

I am always amassed when the market has gone down triple digits and people like Dealer, RR,ClapON, Volt, Roser, Freeus and many others keep their chip up and are not looking to beat any other person up for their misfortunes. This thread is a breath of fresh air and I for one thank everyone on this thread for their input and valuable lessons shared, not to mention the laughter.

This is what it is all about. We are not clowns, but optimists, that believe in the glass being half full. We do not live in Russia or some communist country. This is the land of opportunity. The Clowns should go to Russia they would be more right there, as nay sayers than they are here.

In any case, Best of luck to all and THANK YOU TOM and THE REST OF THE PORCHERS.

Vinnie
