Patricia Trinchero-->>>Frankly, his five years as Gov of Texas couldn't possibly be qualification enough for his Presidential run. Shrub got nominated cause he raised the most money!! LOL<<<

Well, I initially thought George W. Bush reminded me more of a state rep candidate when he first began running. However, I must admit he's moved it up a notch and, today, would make a fine state senate candidate.

Regarding the money? I'm not sure what it took for him to become Texas governor, however, I do know his presidential campaign blew threw his 100+ million in primary money awfully quick. Conservative or opportunistic?

Pat, 40 out of 50 states did not use the federal money within the time period allotted. You're being anal to pick on Bush, and not mention the other 39 governors. All of the states that have not complied have indicated that all of the "red tape", restrictions, and guide lines, imposed by the federal government, made it virtually impossible to implement the programs on time.

If you don't like Bush for President, just say so, but to bash him,and no other, for something 4 out of 5 governors did, is showing your ass. ~H~
