erp is for industrial companies, roughly 1/3 of companies in total.

crm is for all companies.

that's a 3x multiplier.

at any given company, there are usually at least 2 to 3 times the number of employees with some form of customer interaction versus those that have back office or production only interaction.

that's another 2x to 3x

multiply that by the scope and strategic importance of the emerging demand chain applications that rearchitect the customer interaction process and you get your final multiplier. (valuation multiplier)

I do expect that the eCRM vendors will increasingly overlap with SEBL over the next few years, but it's not clear to me they will threaten sebl, perhaps sebl will threaten them as well.

For now, I play both sides, but i no longer post any of my additional holdings publicly, i only discuss those that I've posted on for some time.
