Haim, the frequency of such admissions must be on the rise if people are honest. all the trickery and shenanigans that worked for stocks in a bull market (and continues to work for those that still are in one) comes back to haunt them now that they have turned down. i am frankly amazed that the market is still holding up so well after having lost so many of its big cap leaders to the bear (LU, INTC, MSFT, WCOM, DELL, etc. etc...). it is interesting to note that many complete fantasy stocks continue to trade at totally absurd valuations. considering the dire fate of a great many former market darlings, i wonder who's paying up for JNPR, CIEN, SCMR, the biotechs and some of the b2b stocks...watching this always gives me the feeling i'm looking at something surreal, removed from mundane everyday reality...in a universe all its own.

while we're talking about good/bad calls, my own calls on gold stocks have been a disaster so far...trying to pick a bottom in those dogs has been a trying experience.
