Bill....on KOPN....
Do I think we see 15? With how "strange" this market is, I'd like to unequivocably say no. However, I firmly believe that, barring an earnings warning (which a part of me still has concerns over), I believe that the individual investor set his/her stops at 19, and their stops were smoothly taken out....the EOD volume suggests that the institutions were involved....however, and this is a big however, I need to see what tomorrow brings (and the next day, and the next....).
If we drop below this volume level in the mid 18's, then the large boys were dumping along with the retailers at 19+/-....I don't see this as likely....if there was an earnings warning coming, they would have dumped their blocks before today.
I'm adding in the am once I see its direction after today's drop....if we breach 18, we see 15 in a heartbeat. If we hold 18's, I will be looking at large volume in the near term for new investors to push this back over 20....If we hold 18 as a flatline, I think we see 15's before we get an upmove (my V-bottom thoughts from an earlier SI post)....
Sorry if my thoughts are scrambled. My day job has me in its clutches.
At this point, there is no reason for me to sell my 19's positions in KOPN from a short while back....I'll just keep on going with my Ulysses S. Grant investing philosophy and add positions to what I consider a great long-term investment.
