Re: would you consider DELL is overvalued now?

I would consider Dell somewhat undervalued now.
But by current market standards, it's quite
undervalued.

Based on the new revenue and earnings growth
guideance given earlier this year, I had pegged
Dell's full valuation for 00 to be ~45/shr. I was
surprised when it ran to an overvalued $60 and am
now surprised that it's a whisper away from $30.
$45 indeed seems to be about the midpoint. But that's
the way the market is... it overshoots and undershoots
wildly.

Based on next year's growth rate and retained earnings,
my estimation for fair value is ~55/shr provided there
are no disasterous quarters, economic meltdowns or
complete and total disinterest in any company even
remotely associated with PC's by the street. Which
means the trading range will probably be between
40 and 70 next year.
