OK bobby, So let's keep the same slow access to the actual users of the internet and spoon feed a core that you could drive a truck through. Let's write off the billions of dollars spent on the core to enable high speed packet networks and forget that they were ever built. Let's say, "We came SO close" to making end to end high speed data networking viable on a worldwide basis. Do you know anything about the internet?

btw, I am not talking the internets here. I am talking about the equipment issues that have gotten slaughtered just as business is ramping up. slaughtered because a bunch of irresponsible journalists like david Faber spread doom and gloom during the QP of most of the companies, preventing them from defending themselves. these companies sell components for broadband wireless and optical networks, DSL concentrators, etc. Profitable companies with surging revenues and earnings.
