"Some 400,000 barrels of daily refining capacity need to shut for maintenance around now, even as heating oil stocks remain low. The level of maintenance is higher this winter than it has been in the past.
These guys just didn't do the work this spring."

Refineries delayed maintenance shutdowns, choosing to keep pumping out gasoline as the U.S. price rose to a record during the week ended June 19 and remained near that level.

Big Dog, great job. Love the title.

Thanks for the suggestions folks. At this point I gave my final comments to Big Dog. I'm handing over my "editorial powers" since someone else has so graciously decided to take this little project to the next level...besides he's paying for it. Actually once I see it published I plan on sending him some $$$. Hopefully everyone else will throw in a few bucks.

Good luck Big Dog.

That is for sure one of the great things about the US. The essentials of life are cheap. Booze, smokes, and gasoline...Ho ho ho
