Any bulls on here? Moo! Mercy, after a couple of rough days you'd think the world had come to an end. I hereby declare no more whining. Get tough Folks. Keep a cool head.

We're in the last week of the quarter. It will be volatile. Chill. What I see are a lot of deals getting set-up for a nice year end run. But, then again, ya'll tell me I'm the one that sees opportunities when others see gloom.... that's ok, so be it.

Earnings around the corner. Just a few more days of warnings. Let's hold on. Naz down 9% YTD or there abouts. I just can't see the money bags letting the Naz end the year that way. No way.

I say stay on target. Hang in there. That's what I'm doing. Call me optimistic, fine, but I am absolutely not worried at all. In fact, I feel very confident with everything I've bought recently. I could be wrong. Have been wrong many times and the market has handed me head on a platter more than once. But, I don't see anything that has changed what I've written for weeks.

Just my view. I say again, stay on target. Look for opportunities. Get your plan down before every day. Enter positions slowly. Doesn't have to be all at once. Little here, little there. Average into them. Work your plan. Don't be too quick to react just to react. Don't fall prey to the market sucking you into a stupid position.

Like I say, be smart, have patience but be aggressive, and
manage your plan to execution. Don't let the market to it for you.

I'm still accumulating EXTR calls, and some CIEN calls this week. Still long term bullish as hell on JDSU, especially after SDLI and into 2001.

Good luck my friends. Hang tough. This ain't pee-wee league.
