MH, or anyone else please chime in if you have some ans. for me. After doing a little research asking the most knowledgeable person I could find, I have see that I need to understand the relationship between NTAP and DELL a little better. From what I have been told, NTAP was trying to be a combo INTC/MSFT to DELL, by supplying software and motherboards to DELL with DELL handling the assembling much like it does with PC. NTAP even had the wife of the founder working with DELL. NTAP was committed to making this relationship work. What I would like to find out is why the relationship failed? You see I can see NTAP becoming a software/hardware company and becoming the WINTEL of the NAS world. I haven't been following DELL too closely but see that it's very important to understand how DELL plains to address the storage sector as DELL tries to move up the gravy chain in the corporate IT departments and move beyond the PC. When I read that the 3/4 of all IT sending was going be in the storage area in the near future, I concluded that it will be imperative for the box makers to enter into this sector as they are. So I need to understand how DELL is looking at it. Since I'm owner of both EMC and NTAP, I want to understand as much as I can about who, what, when and where in storage sector.

Thanks for your time,

Greg
