Zeev,

and could claim so when asked by nosy reporters (and frankly it is none of their business)

The twist in this story is that this is the first time a lawsuit was allowed to proceed against a sitting president. The sexual harrassment lawsuit was allowed to go ahead rather than be back-burnered until he left office. In a sexual harrassment lawsuit, you can ask the "boss" about his sexual behavior within the office to determine whether there is a climate or history of unwanted sexual pursuit to determine whether that creates a "hostile" work environment or impedes promotions. So it was the lies in a court that are the issue, not the lies to reporters.

Also, I don't know how much latitude there is, but I believe that the defense can also look into the sexual history of the "employee".
