Drudge Is Biased. That's His Problem. No Credibility Anymore.

And other journalists ARE NOT?????

Did you catch the comments about Bush uttered by CNN reporter Christiane Amanpour the other day??

Drudge had a link up the other day that provided the text of a speech she recently gave... (gone now)

She openly stated that George Bush lacked the credentials to be president...

Now whether you agree, or disagree with that comment is irrelevant...

What is relevant is that it underlines the bias that subverts the objectivity of her reporting.....

She should be keeping her political opinions to herself if she wishes to sustain an aura of objectivity.

And probably explains why she married former State Dept Press Secretary Jamie Rubin...

There is bias throughout the media.... That's why no one in the national media is covering the story about Al Gore's political "kingmaking" patron, Judge Lafon, being investigated for drug smuggling. And the reporters who broke that story are VERY reputable (one used to be a producer for Mike Wallace of 60 minutes)..

This is VERY IMPORTANT information since there are still very close ties between Al Gore and the man who operated the political machine that originally got him elected to the congress and senate. Lafon, at one time, was referred to as being in political control over half of Tennessee..

Drudge is a collector and disseminator of news... He's more of an editor than a reporter....

And since the NYT and Washington Post are generally nothing more than soft investigative news and propaganda tools of the democratic party, you HAVE TO READ THE OPPOSITION to understand what is really going on..

In the modern power struggle that incessantly goes on in DC, reading both liberal and conservative newspapers is vital to being able to read between the lines.... if only because insiders will leak info to on side or the other in order to gain political advantage.

The best example of this is Bill Gertz of the Washington Times.. This guy REGULARLY often finds himself being passed classified information that casts the pentagon or white house in a very poor light...

I'd have to believe that there are counter intelligence tailing him ALL the time..... given the nature of some of his revelations.

Regards,

Ron

Drudge is biased, but his stories are factual.

NBC, ABC and CBS are also very biased.

In fact, Dan Rather is more biased than Drudge, routinely burying stories that don't support his politics.
