I saw Mr. and Mrs. Bush on Larry King tonight. Bush is backing off vouchers, like I predicted he would about 10 days ago. He is not endorsing any kind of national voucher program, but instead says it's up to states/localities to decide. So, Mr. Cummings Engine, your White Knight by George is backing off vouchers so as not to alienate the GOPers in the burbs who don't want no inner-city kids infiltrating their school districts, which is why they moved to the burbs in the first place. Better come up with a better education plan to save our kids.
