Elizabeth, how right you are. They should line up the EK analysts who held their high ratings on EK and shoot them.
Down ~25% on the day, EK would look good ... except that there's still no hope. If there was anyone out there willing to buy EK's assets and fire all the jerks in management, I would pile on the shares. Otherwise, no.

IMHO, it's sad when a company with such a lush and wonderful history of innovation as EK finds itself today with a market cap only 3X that of a "niche" company like SNDK. EK literally invented the "art of photography " ... and spent uncounted decades refining that art. To see EK end up in the hands of Fuji would be like having Thomas Edison join the R&D staff at Sony Corp.

Maybe some good will come of this when a writer gets ahold of the topic and publishes "How a few greedy individuals destroyed George Eastman's legacy".
