Awful quiet around here. I was at Cree yesterday. As usual, everyone is going full speed. It's funny everyone walking around is always in a hurry. There is definitely a sense of urgency in the guys attitudes I see there. Everybody I talk with have no idea that it's the end of a quarter. They just play it one day at a time, going full speed everyday. I do look for a banner quarterly report. I picked up a copy of the 2000 annual report in the lobby. It looks impressive, and shows off all of their new SiC applications. The 4 year graphs are impressive as they are all parabolic. Net margins went from 20% to 28% in the lsat year, how impressive is that. R&D spending went from 12 mil. to 20 mil., with customers paying for almost all of that! No telling where Mr. market will take Cree the next several months. But, when the new production does come on line, it will be fun to see the analysts add these revs/earns to their reports. Anybody besides me adding here? MB
