Hi all; Re the RDRAM to DDR designs shipped ratio... I've got links to at least 27 GeForce DDR cards. I suppose you could throw in the two Micron DDR motherboards, as they are for sale, in a way. That gives 29 DDR design wins for sale now.

Therefore, the ratio has now gotten down to 85/29 = 2.9, that's about half what it was 2 months ago. There are a lot of products out there shipping with DDR SDRAM.

And don't give me the cr@p about how the GeForce cards aren't a large, bussed memory system. So what? Neither is the PS/2, and I don't see bulls ignoring it on this thread. The issue is how many chips will be produced, and if x16 DDR chips are made for the graphics industry, that means that that many dies are running through the factory that could also put out x4 and x8, as they share the same die.
