Engineer - When I read "just what Maurice has been talking about" I thought of his "dynamic pricing algorithm" and his Anita TM box before fuel cell batteries but then I remembered that one too. I think we just just footnote Mq on every new announcement to be safe. :-)

Announcements this morning about NTT Docomo in a deal with AOL to provide i-mode to AOL customers as well as renewed discussion of NTT Docomo /SBC deal. Not sure whether the latter is a good sign of the "two US carriers" going CDMA - (ok W-CDMA at least is better than the GPRS/EDGE route) or a bad sign. In general around the world it seems like NTT leaves a trail of woe as they try to convince Koreans to go W-CDMA instead of CDMA2000. But in the SBC case and maybe in the European case, perhaps their meddling should be welcomed? Dr. J continues to indicate that he is indifferent between the two.
