It IS interesting that the title of this news states::

"Financing for Planned IND Applications to the FDA for 'Product R' "

...and the news release itself does not give any time frame WHATSOEVER for the filing. First they STATED we were going to file June 2000, then somewhat later, then before the end of year 2000, and now stated by the company the IND application will take place year end 2000 - EARLY 2001.

I guess Hirschman and his handlers have finally learned their lesson to refrain from any predictions of an event as important as this, for fear of having their feet held to the fire.

This title with no time frame in the body of the news release can be taken both as a plus or a minus. One the one hand they now have the leeway of filing anytime into the future by not noting an endgame timing. On the other hand, by backing off the announced dates, they will be called to task as to WHY the date continues to be put off (or not mentioned).

Let's hope they will surprise us all and have an acceptance in hand BEFORE year's end, like mid-December.
