QCOM--QCOM teams with Agilent

Qualcomm (QCOM: news, msgs) announced that it has entered into a code division multiple Access test equipment license agreement with Agilent Technologies (A: news, msgs). Under terms of the multi-million dollar agreement, Qualcomm has granted Agilent a license to use certain patents and software to make and supply test equipment products. Agilent will also buy chipsets and system software from Qualcomm. Details of the financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed. Qualcomm's stock closed Tuesday up $3.38 at $73.38 and Agilent fell $3.13 to $45.19.
