Dave--Oh, for sure, I don't like Cheney's position on most issues. Indeed, my complaint with him is not simply the fact he failed to vote in 14 of the most recent 16 elections.

Think about it this way. If Gore only voted twice during the past 16 elections, what would Republicans like FoxNews Sean Hannity be talkin' 'bout? (LOL) There's no question in my mind that Republicans would incessantly blast Gore a lousy American because he didn't do his civic duty by voting in America's elections.

Please do note I've not called Cheney a lousy American. Pretty much my criticism has rung true to the substance of the issue I've raised. Cheney has to stand on his record. And his missing 14 out of the past 16 elections is fair game for criticism, not distortion.
