That is your opinion but not mine. Self-protection should encompass whatever firepower the opposition might feasibly muster. You may be surprised to know that private citizens in this country even have tanks. Why should not the less fortunate have at least the protection of an inexpensive weapon? (Saturday nite special to you) If you will guarantee me protection I will give up my gun. But you'd better show yourself to be more capable than my local police who are pretty damned good.
