They had K6 in 1997 for the last time and entered an exclusive agreement with Intel shortly thereafter. It's very good news that they sell AMD systems again.

BTW, their 1 GHz P3 sells for 6000 DM while the Athlon systems (available tomorrow, looking forward to the 'ad blitz') will sell for only 2000 DM. And this is exactly the "price barrier" in Germany for "ordinary people" (i.e. no enthusiasts) to buy new PCs. Like I said: I think AMD is pushing 1 GHz as the new mainstream entry point, at least here in Germany.
