A rate hike would also kill my portfolio.

Also asian economys quite fragile. It could crash the whole system.

I agree that raising the rates would be awful. Just posted the story. Personally my check book and monthly bills have told me for a long time that there is inflation. But they keep massaging the numbers so that they don't look as bad by dropping out oil (because it's an anomaly). Many people buy heating oil and would probably disagree!

Since they have been doing these numbers so long, how could they get it wrong of a sudden? Sure hope that there is no political election year hanky panky.

If the FED even hints to raising rates again it would be 1929 all over again.

If they are smart they will give back some of the rates they have put in the market already.
I still don't think the last three hikes are in the market yet and the last raise of 50 points was a slap in the face to every working American and was done out of sheer ego.

Oh well I don't need to get started on that again.
