The following is list of OS stocks that have had net earnings revisions upward or downward over the last 30 days in both 2000 and 2001.

It make it pretty easy to see why certain OS stocks have under performed. This in my opinion creates a buying opportunity in most cases.

OS stocks with earnings revisions upward:

SLB
SII
WFT
NBR
CAM
TMAR
PTEN
BJS
NE
PDE
ESV
MRL
HOFF
KEG
OLOG
MWP

OS stocks with earnings revisions downward:

OII
PGO
WG
NSS
ATW
GLBL
GLM
GRP
DO
RIG

From the London Daily Telegraph. As several here have said...

More currency intervention is in the cards AND from riclenov on Yahoo:

'Mr Holger Schmieding, chief European economist at Merrill Lynch, said: "Intervention is not enough. We need to see a clear slowdown in US growth and capital inflow.

We think that will come, but it could be one to two months away," he said."'

smh.com.au

A good read though a couple of days old.
