My stop losses are that close (hold fingers slightly apart) to being executed.

I guess Westhell it was, is, and always will be.

WSTL short interest up 1.5M shares to 5.5M as of Sep 12 trading (sep 15 settlement). We've had ten trading days since then so I don't know how much was covered. On the 12th, we had the big move up to 16. 16 - wow that sounds so nice right now. I imagine more was shorted and then covered in the last few days. If we rally, we could rally hard and fast.

Michael, let me comment on this difference.

AS I stated in the VRTA analysis post, it was using thatkind of data last qtr and this one that I arrived at a modem count. Not a revenue figure as the post states. I also stated in a response that one must have faith in the CO. mgmt to manage there cash situation appropriately to arrive at the figures in the 500K region. If they fail to do so, they get stuck with huge inventories with little cash on hand.

So the difference will not be on my correctness of a Revenue $ or the Capt.'s. It will be reflected in the inventory data and further negative cash balances. For that reason, I hope he is wrong, and the company has the capable mgmt to deliver.

That said, I have a pretty good feel WSTL can achieve the low end figure from the VRTA analysis and have only a modest push on Inventory. I would push a guess for revs to be around 135m and eps @12 cents. But it may not help the stock too much given the aforementioned inventory/cash imbalance that MAY arise. Only time will tell.

But last qtr I was off by 10m revs and .02 and I would gladly take that same error! (it was light)

If I was a bettin' man, I be a buyer for short term and long term this next week.
