You can't make munnee in these companies. They're pies. I should say, you can't expect to make munnee, because the risk is too high relative to the return. Large institutions can and should speculate in these technologies, but not you. You wouldn't be asking these questions except people are complaining about oil prices which have finally risen to inflation adjusted all time lows. Government can't redact reality. Government can't say that the world must be reshaped according to edict, the edict of abstract idealism of emissions. It can try, but no one will comply. When push comes to shove the environmentalists will be first in line to clear cut plants and shoot down animals squatting on oil well property. That is, after their privilege has drained the SPR.
