Dave Rose--You're not serious, are you? Hey, I think it's a very important right not to vote. But non-voting is normally accomplished due to the following:

1) Ignorance or not caring enough.
2) Disenchantment with the political process.
3) All politicians are alike and voting won't make a difference.
4) Poverty, gentrification and moving from communities which become high rent into lower rent communities, with registration impediments in the process.
5) Proving identity and residence.
6) Issuing a protest-like political statement by not voting
7) They forgot.
8) Other reasons which I don't have time to think of, as of now (I'm out the door--LOL!)

Does anyone think Dick Cheney simply forgot in 14 of the past 16 instances in which he had an opportunity to vote? The other three candidates had good voting records, did they not?

And, by the way, Cheney did miss voting in a constitutional amendment.

Just out of curiosity, does anyone know if Texas provides a "none of the above" voting option?
