Dave, RE:Royalties on LDT.

All AMD has said is that there will be no royalties on the peripheral end (I forget exactly how it was stated). This leaves open the possibility of royalties on a processor end. Now they also mentioned LDT on some embedded processors so they may not be looking for royalties on that end either, but it has not been explicitly stated.

Other than that, I am dubious about the value of Transmeta to AMD also.
