That is true for shareholders of record on LU's books. When you have a stock in street name, the certificates are not in your name, they are in the name of your clearing house. This means that if you are in "street name" that you can buy until Friday and still get the AV stock.

I read that also.That cant be true that you have to buy it by 9/20 because everyone that buys this beaten down stock this week will see it go down even further on monday when 5 billion in revenues leave this stock.I better be right and you better be wrong or I will be one pissed off son of a bitch come monday.later.
